Sukkah

The sukkah is a temporary dwelling constructed by Jews during the holiday of Sukkot. Typically, it consists of a framework covered with material that allows light and air to penetrate but protects from inclement weather. Building a sukkah is a symbolic act, reminiscent of the times when the Israelites wandered in the desert after the exodus from Egypt, living in similar temporary structures.
It's important for the sukkah to be sturdy and resilient enough to withstand adverse weather conditions such as wind or rain during the holiday.
